Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Dev Server Deck (the "Service"), a dashboard for remotely managing development servers on machines you own or control. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Dev Server Deck lets you register your own machines via an agent application and control development processes on them from a web dashboard. You are responsible for the machines you connect and everything the agent does on them at your instruction. The Service is intended for development environments - it is not designed for controlling production infrastructure.

2. Your Account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and your Agent Tokens.
• Treat Agent Tokens like passwords: anyone holding a token can control the machine it is registered on.
• You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Connect machines you do not own or have authorization to control.
• Use the Service to attack, scan, or interfere with systems belonging to others.
• Attempt to breach, probe, or circumvent the Service's security or usage limits.
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent.

4. Plans, Billing & Cancellation

• The free plan includes limited daily actions and a single Agent Token, issued once.
• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance via Stripe, monthly or annually, and renew automatically.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices may change with prior notice.

5. Availability & Support

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without uptime guarantees. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Support is provided on a best-effort basis, with priority for paid plans.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dev Server Deck is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss or damage caused by processes started or stopped on your machines at your instruction. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time, which revokes all Agent Tokens and ends any active subscription at the close of the billing period.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
